What kind of paper is used for the invitations?
A white matte 100# coverstock is the standard paper, unless specified otherwise.
Beautiful 100% cotton paper is available with an upgrade. Please inquire about this as each job is unique.
Can I change the color from what’s shown in the photos?
Absolutely! All color on lettering and text is customizable. Illustrations are fixed and cannot be changed. If additional fees for a color change are required, they will be clearly explained via email or quote.
Will I see a proof of my invitations?
Of course! The information (how many rounds, turn-around time, etc.) will be provided in the pdf quote we send after your initial inquiry. We only provide digital proofs and are not able to provide hard copies at this time.
Do I have to make a deposit to begin design?
Yes, a $200 deposit is required to begin. This deposit will be applied to your final invoice.
How does printing work? And who does it?
We use a local Milwaukee based printer. All prints are done digitally (also known as flat) printed. It is quick and the most economical way to print. It also offers almost unlimited color options. Sorry, at this time, we are not setup for metallics (see #6). Please allow 10 business days for digital printing.
Gold/copper/silver. What’s the deal?
Metallics will be printed as a matte color. Gold will be a tan/yellow. Silver a medium gray. And copper will be a rust color. Metallics do not print digitally.
Do you offer envelope printing?
Yes. We are able to digitally print main invitation envelopes (guest address) and RSVP envelopes. We do not currently print return addresses on envelopes. A custom stamp is recommended for return address. We also offer hand lettering services for addressing.
What is your turnaround time?
Each design is different but please allow 4-8 weeks for customization, printing and shipping. This of course, goes hand-in-hand with your communication as well.
Can I rush my order?
We will try our best to accommodate rush orders. Please email us but please email us. In some cases rush orders can be accommodated for an additional 25%.
What can I change on the “semi-custom” designs?
The designs have been carefully created with the typography, graphics and layouts that you see. If you would like to change fonts or the layout (moving items around or changing orientation), please inquire prior to purchase. It is likely this will fall under a custom suite.
